Vertical Foundation Part 1: Online Self-Guided Learning: Didactic Learning & Movement Education
The Vertical Foundation is a total body conditioning philosophy combining Pilates, Aerial, & Pole. The Vertical Foundation repertoire emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core stability, mobility, and awareness to develop efficient, graceful movement with the 50+ functional exercises. Once understanding of how to control the spine & joints dynamically through movement are achieved with supporting stability; pole & aerial instructors will be better prepared to move onto any of the secondary courses in the curriculum.
ONLINE TRAINING: 10 hours of self guided learning. Part 1 (didactic learning & movement education) is the required pre-requisite prior to the 8 hour Part 2 Live course (practical teaching, class planning & reasoning).
PRE-REQUISITES: None
MANUAL: Required, 176 pages. Once enrolled you will have access to the course manual for purchase $20USD.
EQUIPMENT: For the practical exercise component of this course you will need a mat, towel, block, & band.
ASSESSMENT: Following completion of the content there is an online multiple choice test.
COURSE CREDIT: Approved for 10 AFAA CEUs & 1 NASM CEU. PDC Approved. Recognized by the PoleSafe Federation.
